The adult football team reached the final of the County championship in 1996 with the efforts of Olly Gogarty as coach making a significant contribution. Unfortunately, the loss in the County final was followed by a loss in the Division 2 league final. In 1999 the Junior Football team won the Wexford District championship.  The year 2001 was beyond doubt a significant year in the history of the club with the football team winning their first Junior A championship by defeating Sarsfields. The victors were managed by Mick McMahon, a Monaghan native, who was assisted by selectors Matty Bierney and Sean Gregg as well as trainer John Hegarty. The team was deservedly captained by Olly Gogarty who previously represented Meath.  Victory on the day can in no small part be credited to ten points scored by Ross Dunphy as well as goals by Tommy Hynes and Shane Keogh. The club can also look at 2010 as a year of great success. The Junior football team under the guidance of Liam Bent, Colin Bent, Franny Byrne and Paul Fox achieved promotion to the Intermediate ranks. The county final victory was achieved via a defeat of Davidstown Courtnacuddy on a score line of 1-7 to 0-7 with Shane McCormack providing the all-important goal. Furthermore, this same panel of players captained by Conor Doyle achieved league success with promotion to Premier C. With relegation from the intermediate ranks to the Junior grade in 2014 and relegation to the Junior A grade in 2015 the adult footballers are aiming to restore some credibility at the grade this coming season under the guidance of Willie Carley.
