Clonard 3-11 Blackwater 3-10 . Last Tuesday 5 July our U12 Footballers played Our Ladys Island/St. Fintans in round 3 of their Championship. This match was an exhibition of football from both teams, high fielding, handpassing, combination play etc. When we picked our team, our Captain, Ryan didn’t feel well, so we played him in the goal, normally he plays midfield, our backs were Kian, Darragh, Clinton, another Daragh, Barry, then we had Rory, then the forwards, James, Killian, Leon, Nicky and the Man of the Match was Taompf. They played with pride in their blue jerseys and won the game. In the last third of the match we switched Nicky in the goal and Ryan midfield and they were a revelation. Our thanks to the Mams & Dads who drove to Ballymore. Next Tuesday we another cluiche, Round 4, when we will be hosting Ballyhogue in Coolcotts, so  Gill, we will not have to buy you a Satnav.  .Congratulations to Brian Murphy on winning €257 in this week’s Split the Pot.
