Last Tuesday 19th we entertained Taghmon/Camross in our U12 Hurling Championship, in Coolcotts. It was a brilliant match, but we didn’t get the points, though. Our guys, when we have the ball, it is played directly, when we didn’t have the sliotar, we hooked, blocked, tussle for the three thirds of the match. We had three goalkeepers for that match, Nicky, Rory and Darragh.
The rest of our team was, Little Flash, Another Darragh, who is becoming the most improved hurler in our Club, we had Clinton, Centre Back or Midfield, Leon, Ryan aka Captain Courageous, Rory, believe it or not, is under 10, Taofik, Jody, Darragh and James. Ryan is getting used to marking, he had three of the opposition to surround him.
Our next match is 26th v Ballyhogue in Bree at 7.30pm. So Gill, get your road map, again.
We wish happy birthday to Kian, 21st July. Barry will be out for another 2 weeks with his broken fingers. Adam is home from Austria, so we will see him next Tuesday.
