The Clonard 10s played in the Kent Stainless Steel Festival of football in Wexford GAA Centre of Excellence in Ferns on Saturday.

Credit is due to the sponsors and Wexford GAA in hosting this well organised and enjoyable annual tournament.

Clonard Blues played out three games versus St. James, Castletown and St. Joseph’s in a nine a-side format. Clonard óg were competitive in all three games playing some fine football particularly in the first game.

Credit is due to all the players who have everything in each of the games but special mention must be made of Rory, Darragh and John who were making their final appearance as under 10 players, graduating to the under 12 age rank from next January.

Logan, Eoin, Mikey, Conor, Andrew, Adam and Finn all acquitted themselves well on the day and have this tournament to look forward to again next season. A special thanks is also due to all the parents who could make it on the day.
