The Medical, Scientific and Welfare Committee in conjunction with a working group comprising of Dr. Pat O’Neill, Prof. Niall Moyna, Dr. Pat Duggan, Dr. Kieran Moran, John C. Murphy, Dr. Catherine Blake, and Edwenia O’Malley have developed  the GAA 15, a standardised warm-up programme aimed at reducing the number of injuries sustained by GAA players.  

Choosing the correct size hurley will increase a player’s success at mastering the skills of the game. A shorter, lighter hurley is especially recommended for children and those new to the game.

The different Phases of a Camogie Player’s Development highlights the skills and characteristics that Camogie players can expect at each stage of their development. This is signposted from a child’s early years right through to retirement.
