A great effort from our adult hurlers on friday night last 6th May against our town rivals Faythe Harriers in Paric Charman ended in a single point defeat. A huge push in the 2nd half against the wind nearly brought victory. This was the first outing in the Championship and everyone left the park convinced we have much more to offer. Hard luck boys, you did us proud and plenty more great displays to come. scorers on the night were Aidan Roche (1-3) Mark O’Connor (0-5) Brian Sheridan (0-1) John Browne (0-1) David Beary (0-1). Final score was Clonard 1-11 Faythe Harriers 1-12 .
